The museum and its park

The museum is surrounded by a vast park. Your children cannot fail to want to be photographed on a horse back, sculpted in the wood by a museum's artist. They will be quite proud of sitting astride such an obedient animal, pulling its havy wooden load. But remember to keep an eye on them, because it is full-scale !

Maybe you will be surprised by the huge earth hillock near the entrance: it's a re-creation of a mine, which highlights the special use of the mine's wood, mainly made with the Labaroche oak.

Iniside the museum, children have also not been forgotten: on the 2nd floor, an area is reserved for them.. While you are admiring very old wooden made toys, children should build, put up or take down thanks to the toys available for them.

In the park, everything is thought for rest and walk: vast ways easilly suitable for pushchair, shelter for picnic, small ornamental lake for appeasing, area for playing boules, swings, and many other outdoor games for children.
