In this welch township, Labaroche was a little bit special.

The residents passed as proud «È s’èchtimo ko pu k’no-z-aut » (they consider them self better than other). Furthermore, there was no brook, that made other welch people said that "Barotché went and got water to the brook in a basket…"

Food was also different . instead of making berewecka at Christmas, like below, here we made hogey. An while we ate choucroute below, here above we ate compiche !
